  • Rachel Waldman, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD, LMSW

    Rachel is a Speech Language Pathologist and Social Worker who has been working with children, teenagers, and adults for over 12 years. She has worked in highly specialized special education schools, private practice, and as a consultant to educators and parents. She specializes in helping people with language based learning differences, ADHD, and/ or other disabilities which can impact comprehension, verbal expression, written expression, and executive function skills. She uses evidence based methods, and provides clients with tools, strategies, and a deeper understanding of themselves while offering them support and guidance. She is trained in Orton Gillingham, Hochman Writing Method, Visualizing and Verbalizing, and Sarah Ward. She also incorporates strategies to work on anxiety and self esteem, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

    As an SLP and LMSW, Rachel recognizes how a learning difference and executive function struggles can have a ripple effect, impacting an individual’s emotional and social well being, family dynamic, and self esteem. Her goal is to help people feel supported, engaged, and empowered. She also advises parents and educators by providing them with education, information, and tools to be more supportive in the classroom and at home.
